On the evening of January 3, 2025, at 7:00 PM, the lab’s group meeting was successfully held in Conference Room A101, East Building 17. The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Yang Peng, and covered the holiday arrangements and the thesis timelines for the class of 2025 master’s and doctoral graduates, as well as academic presentations by several students.
At the beginning of the meeting, Associate Professor Yang Peng gave a detailed explanation of the arrangements for the 2025 Spring Festival holiday and set out the timeline requirements for the graduation thesis progress of the class of 2025 master’s and doctoral students, providing clear direction and reference to ensure sufficient preparation and planning.
Subsequently, master’s student Zhang Xinling and doctoral student Fan Xuanhe presented their recent work. Zhang Xinling’s presentation, “Multi-Object Tracking Based on Multi-Modal Perception,” detailed the research background, technical challenges, and current progress of the topic, focusing on the application and innovation of multi-modal data fusion in multi-object tracking. Her work provides new ideas for improving multi-object tracking technology and demonstrates the importance of perceptual system fusion.
Following that, doctoral student Fan Xuanhe shared his research results on “Design and Follow-Up Control of Facial Robots.” Fan introduced the core ideas and technical implementation of facial robot design and its application in autonomous follow-up control, combining precise control of facial robots with artificial intelligence technology to advance technical progress and application expansion in the field.
The meeting concluded successfully. Participants expressed that they had benefited greatly and would continue to work hard to tackle research challenges and push the lab’s research forward.
