Professor Yu Li participated in the seminar on the funding and administration procedures for long-term care insurance in Hubei Province. At the meeting, she gave a report titled ‘Emotionally Intelligent Aging-Friendly Care — Development and Application of an Emotionally and Intellectually Interactive Embodied Agent System for Elderly Companionship,’ detailing technologies such as real-time human-skeleton-based behavior perception, spatiotemporal ring convolution fall-detection algorithms, contactless remote heart-rate detection, facial action unit-based emotion detection, and anthropomorphic communication of an emotional silicon-based large model, and stated that these technologies can be applied to home elderly care.
