On January 4, 2023, the UHD+ Technology Innovation Application Academic Seminar hosted by the National Ultra-High-Definition Video Innovation Center was successfully held in Chengdu, bringing together experts and scholars from 11 well-known universities across the country. The seminar focused on topics such as the integration of ultra-high-definition video technology research with industry and the application of new technologies, raising many profound questions for the industry.
At this seminar, Professor Yu Li, head of our lab, as a keynote speaker, delivered a report titled ‘Codec Optimization Technology for Online High-Definition Video.’ She detailed our lab’s research achievements in the field of video coding and decoding in recent years, which have been widely recognized and praised by peers in the industry. Professor Yu Li’s report provided participants with an in-depth understanding of the latest progress in video codec technology and offered strong inspiration and guidance for future research and applications.
