On the evening of May 31, 2024, DMIN Lab organized its May 2024 group meeting. The sharing session featured research reports by Li Bingyin and Du Boyang. First, student Li Bingyin presented on the rapid development of NeRF technology. Focusing on NeRF (Neural Radiance Fields), which won the Best Paper award at ECCV 2020, he introduced its applications in novel view synthesis and 3D reconstruction, then explained in detail few-shot NeRF and human-perception-guided view synthesis schemes, and finally demonstrated the experimental results of NeRF in the above research. Student Du Boyang shared content on improving object detection accuracy in low-light environments, mainly focusing on image enhancement and object detection under low-light conditions, proposing a solution based on generative adversarial networks and multi-exposure generation fusion algorithms, and verifying its effectiveness and advantages through qualitative and quantitative analysis. The lab’s faculty and students listened carefully to the presentations and exchanged ideas, gaining a great deal.
